Bahamasair, the national flag carrier of The Islands of The Bahamas, provides daily direct service from Nassau to the islands. There are also regular flights from Florida to some islands. Bimini Island Air, Inc. was founded in January 1993 and has been flying to the Out Islands of The Bahamas ever since. We have daily scheduled flights to the following islands: Bimini, Andros, Chub Cay, Grand Bahama, North Eleuthera, and Exuma. In addition, to our fleet of turbo prop aircraft which include a Metroliner, Cessna Caravan, Cessna 402B Executive Businessliner, Merlin and Saab 340. This diverse fleet can accommodate 6 to 30 passengers, providing individuals as well as large corporations the fastest and most cost effective method for conducting business. Helpful flight coordinators are ready to plan your travel specifications on the ground and in the air. Lynx Air provides the most reliable (and in many cases the only) passenger transportation directly from the United States (Ft. Lauderdale) to and from Exuma, Governors Harbour, Cat Island and Bimini, in the Bahamas; Cap Haitien, Haiti and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Western Air serves Andros, Bimini and Grand Bahama Island. The schedule includes daily flights to Nassau and Freeport from Andros; two flights daily (morning and late afternoon) into Bimini from Nassau. |
