Andros nightlife - dance, drink, have fun!
Activities and nightlife are of your own making here. Nightclubs and bars of the hotels and resorts provide most of the evening entertainment on Andros. Visitors come in from the local sun and surf to enjoy some local live music and dancing. The lounge at Mangrove Cay Inn becomes a lively hub in the evenings when the locals, winter residents and visitors to the area meet and greet. Everyone seems to congregate here because of the owners' warmth and friendliness and it is a good place to find out what's happening in the area. Cool Tropical drinks are shaken to order. Beers, wine and mixed drinks also available. On New Year's Eve, there is a special celebration from 9:00pm until, which is open to the public. Regulars come here every year just for that event and make their reservations long in advance. It includes Limbo dancing and live entertainment by a local band. Andros is a very quiet place but Nicholls town seems to be the place that is most plentiful. It is the town on the northern tip of the island and has a nice cresent beach, a few pubs, small lodges, stands to eat at, and the most people. Also close by is Morgan's Bluff where you can explore caverns for Morgan's lost treasures... The pub it's one of the oldest structures left from the pirate era here on the island, all the wood and interior is still the same from when pirates roamed the area.
